Monitoring and Control

The Optelian MGT-100 provides communication and management functions for the LightGAIN system family of products. It installs in a LightGAIN shelf and enables an administrator to remotely configure, monitor, and test all cards in the shelf.

The card occupies a single slot in the OMS-519 or OMS-219 shelf and provides alarm relay contacts and intuitive status and configuration access via a front panel LED screen. Both local and remote interfaces can be used to control a LightGAIN system shelf via SNMP, TL1, Command-line Interface (CLI), or a Web interface.

The Optelian ONM-200 Element Management System (EMS) provides operations, administration, and management (OA&M) functionality for LightGAIN family of products.  The ONM-200 enables complete resources monitoring, configuration and troubleshooting of each LightGAIN product and allows managing an entire network from a single network management system.  The ONM-200 is scalable and allows multiple users to access the network resources simultaneously. SNMPv2C is supported by the ONM-200.

The Optelian MDX-OSC is an out-of-band (1510nm) optical service channel card that provides node-to-node communications for the Optelian LightGAIN DWDM systems. It occupies a single slot in the OMS-519 or OMS-219 shelf.
