Reach Extension/Amplification

As part of the Reach Extension family of products, Optelian provides an erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) to extend the reach of its DWDM systems. This EDFA extends the reach of a DWDM system to 500-600km. The Optelian OFA-210 is a gain flattened, single-stage, C-band optical amplifier (EDFA) with a +17dBm optical power output.
