Connectivity Kits

Optelian connectivity kits, featuring Allwave® Flex fiber jumpers, make installation of LightGAINsystems a snap.

Each kit is equipped with standard length jumpers, fixed attenuators, and blanking panels for fiber and attenuator storage. The jumpers use bend radius tolerant Allwave® fiber with each jumper labeled with its assigned channel number. The 10 db fixed attenuators are used to insert loss into incoming signals to protect receivers from overload. Blanking panels have 6 connectors for storing spare fiber jumpers and attenuators until they are ready to be used.

The kits are packaged in sets of four or eight allowing for pay-as-you-grow deployment. Two types of kits are available, depending on whether OMS-shelf passive cards or the MDX-40 DWDM passive shelf is being installed.
