MPX-3GOTN OC-48/STM-16 Muxponder

The MPX-3GOTN muxponder aggregates up to four OC-48/STM-16 clients onto one OTU2 wavelength.

The LightGAIN MPX-3GOTN aggregates SONET/SDH client systems for efficient transmission over WDM networks, maximizing 10-Gb/s wavelength capacity.  Up to four OC-48/STM-16 client systems are aggregated and OTN-wrapped onto a 10-Gb/s wavelength.  Aggregation is asynchronous, allowing the timing for each client to be independently and transparently carried through the network.

The MPX-3GOTN has four SFP client ports and an XFP line port for use in point-to-point and SONET/SDH ring consolidation applications.

OTN line encapsulation offers increased performance monitoring as well as improved reach with forward error correction.
