RGN-3GST

RGN-3GST uses a line-side DWDM tunable transceiver and client-side SFP transceivers for inventory savings on transponder and regenerator applications ranging from 10 Mb/s to 2.7 Gb/s.

The RGN-3GST is a multi-rate optical regenerator, tunable over the full DWDM C-band of ITU channels.

Both 3R (reshape, regenerate and retime) and 2R (reshape and regenerate) operation is configurable.

The unit mounts in any LightGAIN OMS-series active shelf and can operate unmanaged (alarm relay contacts) or with remote network management. The unit provides status and configuration access via a front panel graphic display, touch pad controls and LEDs.
