CSSA to Offer Optelian Optical Transport Systems

CSSA (Communications Supply Service Association) is now offering Optelian’s LightGAIN optical transport system and LightPRO optical test and turn-up portfolio to its independent telephone company members, bringing them access to top quality bandwidth provisioning at affordable prices.
LightGAIN CWDM and WDM systems are a perfect fit for independent carriers facing fiber constraints in their networks; LightGAIN’s low cost and flexibility allow these carriers to address applications from inter-office to remote terminal cabinets. ROI from new revenue-generating services is also achieved more quickly when Optelian’s FTTx/PON products are used to provide the required bandwidth.

“Partnering with Optelian demonstrates CCSA’s commitment to helping rural telephone companies enhance their competitiveness in delivering broadband and advanced services to their customers,” said Scott Davison, Vice President of Strategic Product Development for CSSA. “The Optelian LightGAIN system, with its low power consumption, ease-of-use, and outstanding reliability, is ideally suited to provide high-bandwidth transport in rural areas.”

The LightGAIN CWDM system is RUS listed.

“We are delighted to be working with CSSA,” said Charlie Hancock, Director of Business Development at Optelian. “They not only have broad reach with 200 members in 40 states, but they also have top-quality technical support services to assist with engineering, installation and support.”
