LightGAIN OFA-210 and OFA-230 Optical Fiber Amplifier
With the demand for longer reach applications, the OFA-210 and OFA-230 Optical Fiber Amplifier Modules are an essential component for Metro or Long-Haul fiber optic communication systems.
The OFA-210/230 are gain-flattened single-stage C band amplifiers, designed for +17 dBm output power. They can be used in preamp, postamp (booster), or lineamp configurations and support constant gain or power mode with transient control.
As part of Optelian’s LightGAIN family the unit mounts in any of the active shelves and can operate standalone or under network management. When used as a stand alone component, the unit provides alarm relay contacts as well as intuitive status, configuration access via a front panel display, touch pad controls, and LEDs.
